Few photos from recent modern elegant Chicago wedding, getting ready photos are taken at Fairmont hotel in downtown Chicago, the bride and groom alone were photographed at the North Pond and the reception was held at Galleria Marchetti.
Outdoor area of Galleria Marchetti, with park like setting made for a perfect setting for this summer wedding. It is surprising to find a peaceful oasis like this in the middle of city of Chicago. Outdoor area has a designated area for a ceremony, facing west and allowing for nice light. There is an outdoor tent for large wedding, or small reception can use the inside room. I love the interior and used it to get some dramatic shots of bride and groom and signing of Ketubah . During the whole day, there were so many different varieties of photo opportunities and I took advantage of them all. It was a beautiful wedding.
North Pond offers a great view of Chicago Skyline. Lincoln Park is a short drive from the downtown. It is a nice location for intimate and romantic photos for bride and groom alone. The natural setting is perfect for the first view, when the bride and groom see each other for the first time. To allow for the first view before the ceremony makes the moment more intimate, allows for more time for photos, makes the moment more relaxed and special for the couple.
