Blue Dress Barn, wedding of Joanna & Steve

Blue Dress Barn is  always a great choice for bride who wants a unique venue for her wedding day, something romantic, vintage, rustic or casually elegant, the barn can be all those things.
From all seasons, the fall is my favorite, because fall colors make a nice colorful background for a white washed building of the barn.

This past weekend we got the most beautiful autumn day for the wedding of Joanna and Steve, who traveled for their Blue Dress Barn wedding all the way from Phoenix. This wedding can be described as a vintage elegance with some rustic elements, in rich fall colors of red and deep orange.
Check out the red shoes Joanna wore, very cool. You have to love the bride who wears red shoes, she will be anything but boring. And that is true for both of them, Joanna and Steve make one hot and fun couple. I am sure there is never a dull moment in their future together.

Fall wedding in Grand Beach, Michigan

Grand Beach area is popular not only as a summer destination, it is a great spot for a romantic beach wedding for couples from Chicago area. The beautiful beaches of Lake Michigan that are the main attraction and the close proximity to Chicago.

I was looking forward to the photos on the beautiful beach that this area is famous for, but unfortunately, the not so perfect weather forced to move the ceremony to the Grand Beach Clubhouse. Erin and Sean planned an intimate family affair with a fall theme. They are a beautiful couple and together they created an adorable new family. We managed to get few photos outdoors, around the clubhouse, that offers the view of the golf course.

I love the rich orange colors of this wedding, prefect choice for a fall wedding. Fall is the best season in Michigan, temperatures are not so hot, tourists are gone and we have the beaches all for ourselves. The only bad thing is that the days are getting shorter, no more sunset photos on the beach at 10 pm.
